We built a beautiful portfolio site for Devon-based creative studio, Retama

We had a great time working interactivity into this clean and minimal yet lively archive site for our friends at the Devon-based creative studio, Retama.

Built with Next.js, Prismic, and React, the site creates a customizable wireframe for Retama to log and display their new and historical projects from a custom-built CMS.

The key concept is based on two elements:

• The homepage’s freely expandable / retractable grid, thoughtful touches of colour and movement woven in
• And a stripped-back lightbox slideshow module that brings Retama’s curation and creative art direction to the fore.

The result is functional, playful, and classy - just like Retama’s work.
