After 8 years of teaching Mathematics at high schools in NSW, Australia, Hamish has spent the past 2 years building websites for clients in both hemispheres. He is a freelance developer working mainly for Public Websites and Supermarket.

Hamish has worked mainly on React/Gatsby sites that use headless CMS’s like Prismic. He has a degree in Philosophy and Mathematics and has co-authored several textbooks on logical thinking for children.

We turned concepts from the book ‘Flexible Design Systems’ into an interactive design tool.

We came across the amazing research on ‘Flexible Design Systems’ by Dr. Martin Lorenz through his recent book. This chimed with us as designer-developers delivering work that needs to be applied flexibly across various outputs. We partnered with design studio Public Websites to prototype a custom design tool using the concepts described in the book.

We built an immersive portfolio site for SMM that allowed for localised sites for their two offices.

Spackman Mossop Michaels is an industry-leading practice for landscape architecture and urban design with offices in Sydney and New Orleans. The new website build was led by our partners Public Websites. The brief was to design a website that was strategy-led, rather than portfolio-based.

We built a beautiful portfolio site for Devon-based creative studio, Retama

We had a great time working interactivity into this clean and minimal yet lively archive site for our friends at the Devon-based creative studio, Retama. Built with Next.js, Prismic, and React, the site creates a customizable wireframe for Retama to log and display their new and historical projects from a custom-built CMS.
